She did it!!!! Juvenessa finished beauty school and we are so proud of her. Mr. TJ presented a gorgeous boquet of flowers as he escorted her (Cameo tradition according to Juvenessa) from the school. To celebrate we threw an awsome party at the park. We ate fruit and veggies as Juvenessa requested and I made some very strange tasting sugar free/fat free/black bean brownies.....it sounded good to me. It's a recipe that won't be repeated. We ambushed her with 20 bottles of silly string when she least expected it and I think we all got high off of the fumes. We set up a monster long slip and slide at the park. It took 5 hoses to connect from the bathroom in the middle of the park to reach to the top of the hill but it was so worth it. Grandpa mastered the slide and went down on his bare feet several times.....it was a sight to see. He later told me that playing hard like that and playing ultimate frisbee awakened a side of him that had died. He felt young and spry again and we were all impressed. I will post some photos of the awsome slip and slide later. It was a super fun night to be remembered.
Juvenessa found the perfect career for her and is now my personal beautician and I highly recommend her. She is a natural and keeps my hair looking so cute, my fingers and toes in perfect condition, and I really feel great when I see that I actually have a hair style. Thanks Juvenessa!

Yay!! Congrats to Jess!! We were sorry to miss the awesome party you threw for her!! We heard it was amazing but had a lot going on :( You guys are the best!!
ReplyDeleteYay jessica! Also... black bean brownies?!? I guess I can't judge what with my spinach puree brownies... but wow. Miss you!
ReplyDeleteBeans in brownies! Has the world been turned upside down? On a serious-er note (I don't even think that is a word) Hooray for Jessica! She did it. I was so sorry to miss the party, but it would've taken about 42 hrs driving round trip so I just couldn't make it. On another serious-er note I did find some healthy recipies that are absolutely fabulous that I think you would like. We should chat soon. Love you, miss you.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Jess! We are so proud of you. We miss all ya'll!
