Happy Halloween!

We love dressing up for Halloween!
Criteria: Costumes should be themed for entire family and cheap.
Warning: While outfits do look amazing be prepared for risk of falling apart while wearing them. Recommended for 1 day use only.

The year of the Romans we used bed sheets to make our costumes and rigged it together with safety pins. Owen was only 2 months old and this outfit was a bit impractical for nursing. This year cost a whopping $2 so I could create a Tinkerbell skirt and shoes for Summer. Everything else were items I had on hand or borrowed from family. Here we are representing Peter Pan, Tink, Captain Hook who obviously hooked up with one the mermaids from the Lagoon.

  1. Awesome! I made all of my kids' costumes this year from DI purchases. It was a blast! I'll post pictures eventually... as soon as I get one of my 13-year-old. Not sure how we missed that.

Sorry I missed you the other day! We were getting family pictures done. Which I will also post soon. It's a good thing you didn't meet my family that day, because our theme for our pictures this year was 'The Hobo Family' and I had my kids doing their best to get nice and dirty before we left for pictures. I'll post those soon, too. ;)

Cheers to Sleep overs on Oct 30! By the way, we missed our sleep over for this last Tuesday......My heart is broken......"Hold on let me fix that.....with my tools." -My SOn.

Why can't some women get pregnant???????
    Who knows!!!
Okay that last joke was lame. It wasn't actually a joke. It was a fleeting thought.

  6. You lied in your post about your costumes. You thought you only spent 2 dollars. Just wait til you get my bill for helping. That will take them up to at least $102.00
