I love play time with my kids. Summer loves to color and frequently requests for me to draw Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Nemo, and when I am finished she requests them all again. I like to encourage her to color the drawings. I think she could be a promising artist. Owen loves being plopped in front of a bucket of toys of which he quickly empties. He is getting so good at using his hands and is entertained for hours with any object placed in front of him. He has began a new game we like to call the Leaning Limbo. He starts leaning his head and he waits for me to lean down to meet his eyes. Just when I think he can't lean any further he outdoes himself. Heads are big on kids and he shows his core strength by leaning and lifting it back up over and over.
Tonight he was playing with his toys when I noticed he had slowed down and soon he had let himself fall over on the floor and drift to sleep. A movie was playing but undaunted he slept. I got such a kick out of seeing him comfortably curled up on the floor.
